Ours is an advanced program beginning at the PGY-2 year. An approved expansion of the South Brooklyn Health Transitional Year program lets us guarantee a PGY-1 position to every applicant who matches into our anesthesiology program.

- Apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service
- Rank both the Transitional Year (Anesthesiology) track and the Advanced Anesthesiology program on your rank order list
- Applicants who rank both are matched into both, and move from intern year straight into anesthesiology at South Brooklyn Health
- There is no second application and no second match
