Traumas can happen anywhere and at any time. A trauma is a life- or limb-threatening injury or wound that needs immediate attention by a team of expert health care professionals.
When life-threatening traumatic injuries happen, we’re ready with immediate, specialized emergency care at one of our Trauma Centers. Trauma Centers are specialized health care facilities dedicated to treating extreme emergencies.
Traumatic injuries may be caused by:
- Motor vehicle crashes
- Sports accidents
- Gun shots
- Stab wounds
