Our Center of Excellence accreditation by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) reflects exceptional commitment and ability to consistently deliver safe, high quality, and successful bariatric surgery care.
This designation allows our program to accept all insurers.
Designation as a Center of Excellence means:
- we pass a rigorous review in which we demonstrate our ability to deliver the highest level of care.
- our complication rate is exceptionally low
- our surgical risks are low
- we offer on-site technical know-how and training in the care of our patients – including providing large beds, supportive bathrooms, and special wheelchairs.
- we offer a high degree of patient support, before and long after surgery.
