The Auxiliary is a separately incorporated not-for-profit corporation whose goal is to enhance patient care at NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull. The Auxiliary is comprised of members of the public committed to and interested in advancing this goal.
Auxiliary Activities
The Auxiliary:
- Sponsors fundraising events, such as the Annual Dinner Gala.
- Acts as an agent for receiving and administering funds received from fundraising efforts.
- Distributes funds for activities or projects that enhance the quality of patient care and for selected amenities not otherwise available to patients.
- Improves the image and perception of the hospital and supports community outreach efforts.
