Dr. Michelle McMacken, director of the NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue’s Plant-Based Lifestyle Medicine Program
Are you living with:
Would you like to learn how to become healthier through lifestyle changes?
The Plant-Based Lifestyle Medicine Program can help!
You will have access to our team of experts, including a plant-based doctor, a registered dietitian, and a health coach, who will work with you to create a personalized plan to “upgrade” your lifestyle.
We focus on six aspects of lifestyle change: a healthy plant-based diet, physical activity, stress reduction, sleep health, social connections, and avoidance of risky substances such as tobacco.
Our program involves individual appointments and weekly group classes. Both components are important for your success. We also offer educational materials; cooking demonstrations; classes on grocery shopping, meal planning, meal preparation, exercise, sleep, and stress management techniques; and the chance to connect with others who are making lifestyle changes.
We’ll guide and support you in adopting healthy lifestyle habits. You don’t need to be ready to change overnight. Schedule an appointment to see how we can help you get healthier – call the Plant-Based Lifestyle Medicine Program at (347) 507-3695.
