Mission
The Simulation Center’s mission is to inspire and promote the culture of NYC Health + Hospitals with a contemporary approach to education and simulation. We do this by applying advanced education and reflective experiential learning techniques to:
- Create and design programs to address system needs that are evidence-based, prioritized and responsive to emergencies.
- Apply Quality Improvement and Equity lens to refine process, identify safety threats, and improve patient care.
- Develop trainers to grow educational programs, leadership, and critical thinking skills within our healthcare system.
- Drive and measure improvement changes.
