Community Advisory Board

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln has been visibly active in the Bronx for over 30 years. Current CAB members include 13 volunteers consisting of residents, patients, community leaders and healthcare advocates who devote precious hours to ensure community residents receive access to the highest quality healthcare services. The CAB works directly with community based organizations, serving as a vital link between NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln and residents. They represent the community’s views in the hospital’s decision-making process and also inform the community about the goals and objectives of the hospital and its affiliated health centers.

The CAB also serves as advocates to local, state, and federal governments on behalf of the community and hospital. They provide important information about Lincoln’s programs and services, and advise elected representatives of the community’s healthcare needs during the budget allocation processes.

The Chairperson of the Lincoln CAB is Richard Izquierdo Arroyo
