Why Bellevue?
Bellevue’s role as a safety net hospital became one of the most meaningful aspects of the program as I
learned more about its mission. In pharmacy practice, financial and medication access barriers can often
influence treatment decisions. Training at Bellevue allows me to focus on providing evidence based, patient-centered care while serving a diverse population with fewer financial barriers limiting the care we can provide. I am proud to call myself a Bellevue resident because I have the opportunity to develop as a
pharmacist within an institution committed to delivering high quality care to every patient, regardless of their circumstances.
What do you do for fun?
Outside of residency, I am deeply invested in my fitness journey and train five times per week with my
training group; it is the main personal goal I continue to work toward outside of pharmacy. I also enjoy going out to eat with friends, especially for Asian cuisine, and I am always open to trying new foods and
experiences.

Why Bellevue?
I chose to pursue a PGY 1 residency at Bellevue because of its commitment to providing compassionate,
high quality care to every patient, regardless of their background or ability to pay. As someone who
comes from a family of first generation immigrants, that mission resonates deeply with me. Bellevue’s
diverse patient population and academic environment will allow me to continue developing my clinical
skills while caring for a community that reminds me of the one I grew up in. I’m excited to learn from
experienced clinicians and grow into a well rounded pharmacist dedicated to improving patient
outcomes.
Hobbies
Outside of pharmacy, I love exploring new restaurants, traveling, and experiencing different cultures
through the food I eat and the places I visit. Whether it’s finding a hidden local spot or trying a new
cuisine, I’m always excited to discover something new. And in my opinion, there’s no better place than
NYC to experience it all.
