EXTREME HEAT EXPECTED FOR THURSDAY (8/6) THROUGH SUNDAY (8/9)
New York City is expected to experience extreme heat starting Thursday (8/6) lasting through the weekend. Temperatures will reach between 86-90 degrees with possible heat index values of up to 102 degrees throughout this heat wave.
NYC H+H’s acute care facilities will open their Cooling Centers tomorrow, Thursday (8/6), and are expected to remain open daily throughout the weekend.
