Military leaves of absence (Call to Duty) are granted to employees in accordance with the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994 (“USERRA”) and New York State Military Law, Article XI, Section 242.

Extended Military Benefits Program (EMBP)
Eligible employees can receive differential pay if their NYC Health + Hospitals salary is higher than their military pay, while continuing to accrue certain benefits like leave time and health insurance coverage.
