WTC Environmental Health Center

The World Trade Center Environmental Health Center is a Center of Excellence that is dedicated to the assessment and treatment of WTC-related conditions. The Center provides health care with no out of pocket costs to residents, students, workers, or passersby who may still be sick from 9/11.

The Center has locations at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue on the East Side of Manhattan, NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in Queens and NYC Health + Hospitals/Gouverneur in Lower Manhattan. The Center works in partnership with community organizations and residents affected by 9/11.

Once you are enrolled, you will be provided with more information about your care, how your insurance coverage will work if you have it, and how the program works if you don’t. Either way, whether you have insurance or not, there will be no out-of-pocket cost to you for treatment and medications related to your 9/11 illness. No insurance, no problem, no out-of-pocket costs.

For eligibility and enrollment of people new to the program, call toll free 1-888-WTC-HP4U (1-888-982-4748) or visit www.cdc.gov/wtc. If you are an existing patient, please call the specific clinic where you already get care.
