The ceremony celebrated the $2.4 million investment made by the New York Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC) to provide quality mental health resources for Bronx residents.

The Joint Commission on October 31 recognized North Central Bronx Hospital (NCBH) for its outstanding performance in treating patients with heart failure and pneumonia.

The Women's Health Service of the HHC North Bronx Healthcare Network has operated at two locations, Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCBH). Effective Monday.
