Take Care: A Model Program for Safe Separation

April 30, 2021

The NYC Test & Trace Corps’ Take Care program

The NYC Test & Trace Corps’ Take Care program is the subject of a recent case study published by the Partners in Health (PIH), a global health organization bringing quality health care to the most vulnerable around the world. The case study focuses on Care Resource Coordination for COVID-19, an essential aspect of an equitable pandemic response that provides cases and contacts services they need to safely isolate or quarantine.

New York City’s Resource Coordination is led by Resource Navigators through the Take Care program. In the report by PIH, Take Care is described as a model for programs seeking to integrate community-based organizations into a centralized response to ensure support for isolation and quarantine.
