Regina Hammock, DO

Faculty at NYC Health + Hospitals/Simulation Center

Regina came to The Simulation Center by accident as a learner in one of the courses, falling in love with the engaging and interactive methods of teaching at The Simulation Center. She is a graduate of NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine (previously NYCOM). She did her residency at St. Barnabas in the Bronx, and stayed on as an Attending. She left St. Barnabas for the private sector, and went to South Nassau Communities Hospital. She was then offered a chance to be a Residency Director for Emergency Medicine at NY/United Medical Center until the hospital closed, and she moved back to South Nassau, and finally to NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island, where she is currently the Associate Chairperson of the Emergency Department, and the Program Director on the Emergency Medicine residency. Instructing at The Simulation Center has radically changed how she interacts with the residents. She is thrilled to have found the Simulation Center three years ago.
