“This is a victory. The court’s decision today underscores the negative impact the “public charge” rule would have on immigrants and their families. We will continue to reassure immigrant New Yorkers to seek care without fear. Our doors are open to all and our mission has never been stronger or more relevant: to care for everyone regardless of immigration status. We will continue to fight for our patients’ access to health care for as long as it is threatened.”
