Local Russian-Speaking Artists Exhibition Debuts at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health
The exhibition features the work of local Russian speaking-artists expressing how they have been inspired by the freedom, hope, and community of the American Dream

Brooklyn, NY – NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health, in partnership with Be Proud Inc., recently hosted the God Bless America art exhibition, a commemorative exhibition featuring nineteen original art works in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Unites States.
Artists were encouraged to express their vision in any medium of their choosing, resulting in a diverse collection of paintings, photography, collage, sculpture, mixed-media, and handcrafted art.
The exhibition invites patients, visitors, staff, and members of the Brooklyn community to experience art that has been inspired by freedom and the passionate pursuit of the American Dream. The works reflect each artists interpretation of an America that inspires them, welcomes them, and has given them the freedom to dream, create, build a community, and pursue endless possibilities.
Subjects represented throughout the exhibition include patriotic imagery including; tall ships, soaring eagles, family portraits, historic landmarks and events, veterans service, and interpretations of the immigrant experience.
“We are proud to exhibit the work of these Brooklyn artists from Be Proud Inc,’s God Bless America art competition at South Brooklyn Health,” said CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health Manjinder Kaur, DNP, FACHE. “These works transform our spaces, bring joy to our visitors, and foster healing for our patients and their families.”
By supporting creative initiatives that empower local talent, South Brooklyn Health continues its commitment to nurturing both the physical well-being and the spirit of the communities they proudly serve. Visitors are invited to explore the exhibition gallery and experience the artist vision of Brooklyn’s emerging and established artists. The exhibit will be on view in the first gallery of the 2nd floor visitor walkway through the end of the year.
