“It is such an honor to receive this award, but I could not have met the challenges of this pandemic without the amazing staff members at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan and NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem,” said Frosso J. Adamakos, MD, FACEP. “They are the real heroes and it’s been a privilege to have worked with them.”

“I am honored and humbled to receive this award. My years at Lincoln though challenging, have been rewarding and above all transformative,” said Mary T. Ryan, MD. “I hope to have many more years ahead working in the South Bronx.”
“It’s staff members like these, who exceed expectations, that make NYC Health + Hospitals great,” said NYC Health + Hospitals President and CEO Mitchell Katz, MD. “Their leadership sets an example for every medical professional. I am very proud of this well-deserved recognition.”
“Congratulations to all of the honorees and thank you for your outstanding commitment to our patients, colleagues, and the community at-large,” said NYC Health + Hospitals Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Machelle Allen, MD. “This recognition shows that our healthcare workers are willing to go to great lengths to provide New Yorkers with the absolute best care.”
There are many individuals whose unique and critical contributions to public health during the pandemic have been recognized,” said New York American College of Emergency Physicians President Keith E.
