As a Labor and Delivery nurse at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx, Shakeela Parveen focuses on communication and collaboration.

Parveen points out that “Compassion” is the value that she feels is most closely associated with her patient care. “Compassion is the value that appeals to me, because I honor diversity and seek to help my patients in any way that I can,” she remarks.
