Adding a Proxy to MyChart

By adding a person, or “proxy,” to your MyChart account, you give a trusted friend or family member the tools they need to support you—right from their own computer or phone.
Why invite someone to your MyChart?

How to Get Started (It’s as easy as 1-2-3!)
Adding a proxy is safe, secure, and simple:
- Log in: Sign in to your MyChart Account at mychart.nychhc.org or the MyChart app
- Invite: On the main page, click on your name and picture on the upper right corner and click “manage friends and family.” Then click on “invite friends and family” and add whoever you like.
- Accept: Your loved one simply receives an email inviting them to see your health information. Once they accept they’ll be able to view your info from their own MyChart account!
