Geriatric Care

As one of NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan’s Centers of Excellence, Geriatrics is one of the hospital’s clinical areas selected for focused development and expansion of services. The primary focus of our Geriatrics Services is to help the older population stay active and healthy by providing information on disease prevention, as well as offering treatment for acute and chronic illnesses. Aging is a natural part of life that can be full of energy, support, and good health. We want everyone in our community, regardless of their age, to stay active, to stay informed, and to stay healthy.

Patients receive high-quality compassionate care in a modern environment that values medical excellence and patient safety.
