Our Residency Program

We are committed to providing residents and fellows with a meaningful experience—and the support you need to make your training valuable.

By apprenticing with seasoned physicians and surgeons, you’ll have the chance to do more than build your medical skills. Our diverse patient population provides you with the opportunity to improve your interpersonal and cross-cultural communications skills—which are fundamental to serving in a safety net healthcare setting.

Medical Specialties for Residency and Clinical Fellowships

We host a large graduate medical education program for nearly 5,000 residents every year. We offer residency and clinical fellowships in dozens of specialty and subspecialty fields, including:

  • Obstetrics-gynecology
  • Pediatrics

Medical School Internship Program

If you are a third- or fourth-year medical school student, we also offer medical school internship program. Nearly 2,000 students participate in clinical rotations at our hospitals every year.
