Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery

Cervical Dysplasia and Colposcopy
With introduction of routine Pap smear screenings, deaths from cervical cancer have significantly decreased in the United States.
The Pap smear is a screening test to see if a woman has abnormal cells that may indicate the presence of or be predictive of infection, inflammation, abnormal cells and cervical cancer.
Our experienced providers provide sensitive, confidential and compassionate consultations and examinations, using state-of the art equipment.
We perform Pap smear, HPV DNA testing, Liquid Based Cytology, Colposcopy (lighted magnifying exam) and biopsy, Conization (minor surgery to remove slightly larger piece of tissue harboring abnormal cells).
