Stanlee Richards, RN, began her career with NYC Health + Hospitals in October 1967. She served in the United States Army Reserve as Critical Care Nurse for 24 years, resigning in 2008 at the rank of Major. Ms. Richards is the winner of the Fund for the City of New York’s 2013 Sloan Public Service Award for a career devoted to giving medically fragile patients the highest standards of care and advocacy. She spearheads the facility’s Breast Cancer Fundraising Committee, which is among the top achieving organizations for the American Cancer Society.
