DOHMH Clinical Director of Trace
Kathleen Blaney has served as the Deputy Director of NYC Test & Trace Corps since May 2020 and is currently the Director of Disease Control Emergency Preparedness at DOHMH. Prior to joining Trace, Kathleen was branch director of the Healthcare System Support team of the DOHMH COVID Response. She previously worked in the Bureau of Immunization, serving as infection prevention lead for a network of clinics during the measles outbreak and as outreach coordinator for the Citywide Immunization Registry. Prior to joining DOHMH, Kathleen worked as a nurse at the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin and as a clinical research assistant at Rhode Island Hospital. Kathleen studied nursing and political science at Marquette University and received a Master of Public Health degree from Brown University.
