NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and Queens Library Announce New Series of Health and Wellness Educational Events in Queens

Hospital staff offers expertise on a range of health topics, presented at Queens Library branches throughout the borough

NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and Queens Library have announced a new series of health and wellness educational events to increase health care literacy for all residents in Queens. The free series includes discussions led by NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst providers on a range of topics at Queens Library branches throughout the borough. Open to the public, the discussions will focus on emergency preparedness, adolescent health, hypertension, CPR training, and depression, among other topics. The ongoing collaboration is part of Queens Library’s Community Health Service program, which provides free health education classes, workshops, and activities to promote health awareness in the community.
