Cardiac Code Team 2.0 Course

Cardiac Code Team 2.0 Course

Course Description:

The Cardiac Code Team 2.0 Course is a multi-disciplinary learning experience designed to apply those skills learned from the original Cardiac Code Team Course. It builds on the concepts of team preparation and management with an emphasis on basic skills that can lead to better patient outcomes during cardiac code situations. Like its predecessor, the course uses active learning modalities in its application of CPR and TeamSTEPPS teamwork skills. Learners will get to practice their cardiac arrest management through multiple scenarios on hi-fidelity simulators. Following the scenarios, the learners will be debriefed to review course concepts with a focus on team management. It is preferred that the teams that come to this course will likely be performing code team duties together for a particular period of time.
