Statement from NYC Health+ Hospitals/Bellevue regarding Times Square incident

May 18, 2017

NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue received 13 patients from the incident in Times Square earlier today.
Patients range in age from 13 to 72; three are teenagers and 10 are adults. There are seven males and six females.
Four of the patients are in critical condition. Another two are in serious condition. The other seven are in fair and stable condition.
Serious injuries include pelvic fractures, internal bleeding and head injuries.
Less serious injuries include broken teeth, aches and pains.
Every patient is receiving the high-quality care they need from our Level 1 trauma care team.
May 19, 2017 Update
Of the 13 patients received yesterday at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, six have been discharged and seven remain in the hospital. Three are in critical condition; four are in serious and stable condition.
May 20, 2017 Update
Of the 13 patients received on Thursday at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, seven have been discharged and six remain in the hospital. Two are in critical condition; four are in serious and stable condition.
May 22, 2017 Update
Of the 13 patients received at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue on May 18, seven have been discharged and six remain in the hospital. One patient is in critical condition, one is in serious condition, one is in fair condition, and three are in good and stable condition.
